Maintenance of climate systems and breakdown service

A climate system that is well maintained lasts longer, consumes less energy, and malfunctions less often. We maintain systems in hotels, offices, and commercial properties.

Preventive maintenance

During a maintenance service, we check and clean the installation and reset it. Depending on the system, this includes:

  • Cleaning filters, heat exchangers and condensate discharge
  • Control operation, pressure and temperatures
  • Check and record leakage tightness in the logbook
  • Adjusting regulations and settings to suit usage
  • Detect wear before it becomes a malfunction

Legal controls

For installations using fluorinated refrigerants (F-gases), there are legal regulations regarding periodic leak checks and registration. How often depends on the amount of refrigerant in the system.

We include these checks in the maintenance and keep a log so that you can prove that your installation complies with the regulations.

Grew up in hotel maintenance

Homanser started out as a maintenance crew for hotels. So we know what it’s like when a room stays warm while guests arrive, or when the hot water supply fails on a Saturday morning.

Therefore, we plan maintenance in consultation, outside busy times, and per floor or group of rooms.

Frequently asked questions

How often should a climate system be maintained?

For most business installations, we recommend at least once a year. With intensive use, such as in hotels, it may be wise to do it more often.

What should I report in case of a malfunction?

The address, the type of installation, what you notice and any error codes on the display or the controls. A photo of the error code also helps.

Can I do anything myself before the technician arrives?

Check that the power supply and controls are working properly and that the filters are not visibly contaminated. Do not open the installation yourself.
