Air conditioning installation for offices, shops and restaurants

A good air conditioning installation starts with the space: how many people, how much sun, what equipment. Based on that, we choose the system and the units, and ensure a neat, quiet installation.

Air conditioning installation

Which air conditioning system is right for me?

Split air conditioning

One outdoor unit with one indoor unit. Suitable for a separate space, such as a meeting room or server room.

Multisplit

One outdoor unit with multiple indoor units. Handy for a few rooms and little space outside.

VRF or HVRF

For larger buildings with many rooms, with control per room and simultaneous heating and cooling.

Indoor units that fit the space

In an office with a system ceiling, cassette units are often the neat choice: they fall away into the ceiling and distribute the air in all directions. In the office buildings on Ellermanstraat we chose roundflow cassettes that better match the sightlines.

Without a lowered ceiling, wall units, floor models or channel units can be used. We pay attention to noise, draught and the location of the condensation discharge.

Frequently asked questions

Can an air conditioner also heat?

Yes. A modern air conditioner is an air/air heat pump and can also heat. In a well-insulated office, that can be a full-fledged heater.

Do I need a permit for an outdoor unit?

That depends on the location and the municipality. There are often additional rules for monuments or for the front facade. We take this into account in our advice.

How often should a commercial air conditioner be serviced?

We recommend maintenance at least once a year. Depending on the amount of refrigerant, legal checks on leakage tightness are also required.

Air conditioning for your business premises?

We inspect the spaces on site and advise which system and which units are suitable.
