HVRF heat pump system makes five-star hotel The Dylan largely gasless

Making a monumental five-star hotel in the heart of Amsterdam more sustainable requires technical precision, experience and a future-oriented approach. For The Dylan Amsterdam, Homanser Installatietechniek realised an innovative solution with which the hotel takes a big step towards gas-free operation.

The existing VRF installation was replaced by a modern HVRF heat pump system. This efficiently heats and cools the hotel rooms, while at the same time sustainably producing 4,000 litres of tap water. The installation meets the strict requirements of the municipality of Amsterdam and is also prepared for a future connection to a CHP source.

This project shows how Homanser successfully implements complex sustainability projects within listed buildings - without compromising on comfort, appearance or business continuity.

The Albus Amsterdam - Europe's first CO₂-neutral hotel thanks to innovative technical installation

In the heart of Amsterdam, Homanser Installatietechniek realised an extraordinary sustainable project: The Albus Amsterdam, Europe's first completely CO₂-neutral hotel. An innovative, gas-free installation was integrated into an existing urban building, which provides heating, cooling and hot water without direct CO₂ emissions.

The challenge was clear: combine maximum sustainability with the level of comfort expected by international hotel guests. By applying high-performance heat pump technology and a cleverly designed energy system, the hotel switched entirely to electric, sustainable solutions.

With this project, Homanser Installatietechniek underlines its expertise in complex sustainability projects within the hospitality sector.

Future-proof climate control system for office buildings Ellermanstraat

Homanser Installatietechniek realised a future-proof climate concept when making two office buildings on Ellermanstraat in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht more sustainable. The existing climate installations were replaced by modern VRF installations, ventilation systems and heat pump technology, as a result of which the buildings meet the current energy label requirements and are ready for future sustainability steps.

Commissioned by the property manager, Homanser developed and installed a complete solution with individual climate control per floor, optimal ventilation and energy and heat recovery options, while maintaining comfort and flexibility for the users.
