Installation technology for hotels and hospitality

Guests only notice something is wrong with the installation when it doesn’t work properly. We provide silent climate control per room, plenty of hot water at all times, and sustainability while the hotel remains open.

What a hotel requires from the installation

Comfort per room

Each guest sets their own temperature. The installation must be able to heat and cool at the same time, and it must not be audible.

Warm water at peak moments

In the morning, many guests take showers at the same time. The system must handle this peak without experiencing a drop in temperature or pressure.

Continuing work without closure

A hotel does not rule out installing a system. We are working in phases, in consultation with the management.

Coolant in small rooms

In hotel rooms, there are limits on the amount of refrigerant. HVRF only brings water into the rooms.

Monumental buildings

Many hotels in Amsterdam are located in monuments. Strict requirements apply to installations on the roof and facade.

Off the gas

Hotels consume a lot of heat. Switching to heat pumps therefore pays off handsomely.

Started in hotel maintenance

Homanser started as a maintenance party for hotels. You can see that from the background: we plan work around staffing and breakfast, communicate with the technical department and the reception, and are familiar with the systems that run in hotels.

We are the fixed installation partner for The Dylan. After the completion of the installation, we remain involved in maintenance and troubleshooting.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work while the hotel is fully booked?

We make a phased plan in advance with the management, for example per floor or per group of rooms. This way, most of the hotel remains available.

Which system is suitable for hotel rooms?

Often a VRF or HVRF system, because it can be adjusted per room and can simultaneously heat and cool. HVRF is preferred if you do not want refrigerant in the rooms.

How do I ensure there is enough hot water with a heat pump?

By calculating the system for peak demand, with sufficient buffer. At The Dylan, the installation is designed for approximately 4,000 liters of hot tap water.

Renovate your hotel or renew the installation?

We will visit your hotel on site and discuss what is possible, including the phasing.
