Systems<\/h2>
What is the difference between VRF and HVRF?<\/summary>

In VRF, the refrigerant runs all the way to each indoor unit. In HVRF, the refrigerant only reaches a central distributor and water enters the rooms. As a result, there is less refrigerant in the building. More explanation on the page VRF and HVRF systems<\/a>.<\/p><\/div><\/details>

Can a heat pump provide a hotel with hot water?<\/summary>

Yes, provided that the system is designed for peak demand. At The Dylan, the installation is designed for approximately 4,000 liters of hot tap water.<\/p><\/div><\/details>

Is a cooling ceiling better than an air conditioner?<\/summary>

A cooling ceiling is quieter and does not cause draughts, but has less cooling capacity per square metre. In case of a high heat load, air conditioning or VRF is often necessary, possibly in combination.<\/p><\/div><\/details><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Sustainability<\/h2>
Can my building be made gas-free without having to shut it down?<\/summary>

In most cases, yes. We work in phases, by floor or group of rooms. At The Dylan and The Albus, the hotel remained open.<\/p><\/div><\/details>

What energy label should an office have?<\/summary>

Office buildings must, as of January 1, 2023, have at least an energy label C, with a few exceptions. A gas-free climate system often helps achieve or improve that label.<\/p><\/div><\/details>

What if a complete transition is not possible right now?<\/summary>

Then we create a step-by-step plan. We prepare the installation that you are having done now for the next step, such as a WKO connection.<\/p><\/div><\/details><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Do you work with our installation consultant?<\/summary>

Yes. We regularly work with consultants, property managers and developers, and coordinate engineering and implementation with them.<\/p><\/div><\/details>

Where are you active?<\/summary>

We are located in Purmerend. Our projects are located, among other places, in Amsterdam, Weesp and Duivendrecht. Please contact us if your project is located somewhere else.<\/p><\/div><\/details>

How does a collaboration begin?<\/summary>

How often should a climate system be maintained?<\/summary>

We recommend at least once a year. In addition, for installations with F-gases, legal leak checks apply, depending on the amount of refrigerant.<\/p><\/div><\/details>
